The Oriental Laboratories Ltd. story had begin in 2006, when Hakim Anwarul Alam Bhuiyan, set up a small drug shop in Dhaka. What started as a health service later diversified into an education and a socio-cultural movement in the shape of a charity.

In Dhaka, Bangladesh Oriental Laboratories Ltd was established on 2006 as on Sadek Pharmaceuticals Ind. Unani Ltd. The development of Oriental Laboratories Bangladesh was going on step by step with a very slow motion. Md. Anwarul Alam Bhuiyan, a legendary personality took over the responsibility of Oriental Laboratories in 2017. By virtue of his versatile activity, the tremendous growth and development of Sadek Pharma has been started. A new dynamism came in the organization within a short time and Sadek Pharma becomes very popular in the country and abroad for its multipurpose humanitarian activities.

Hakim Md. Yousuf Harun Bhuiyan made a breakthrough in the history of medical science in Bangladesh. He has succeeded to get the official recognition of herbal medicine in Bangladesh. I lis utmost effort made it possible to reintroduce Eastern Medicine as the bridge between traditional medicine and modern medicine. At present, both modern physicians & traditional physicians prescribe Hamdard medicine in their routine practice.

Oriental Laboratories Bangladesh has introduced time honored presentation of herbal medicine like capsule, tablet, syrup, ointment, Powder, Semi-solid etc.

To maintain the highest standards of production Oriental Laboratories has setup laboratory with modern scientific equipments, run by qualified experts. Oriental Laboratories established Holistic Quality Management System to check every steps of production & marketing, right from the procurement of raw materials, inprocess quality control, finished goods quality assurance & post delivery customer service.

Oriental Laboratories has established about 64 Hakim(DUMS) all over the country. They are have Medical Centre. At medical centers no fees are charged to anyone for consultation, examination, tests and services. The patient only pays for medicine. Indigent patients are given all treatment and medicine free.
